This 39-year-old patient was unhappy with her abdominal contour, excessive fat, loose skin, and a belly button that she could no longer see. She had a standard abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) which included liposuction of the abdomen and flanks, as well as repair of the separated abdominal muscles, and removal of the excess abdominal fat.
The result seen here is photographed at approximately 6 months after surgery. The scar is still somewhat red and has since faded. The patient is very happy with the improved shape of her waist and hips, and the belly button is greatly improved.
