This healthy 42-year-old mother previously had breast augmentation surgery with another surgeon almost 2 decades ago using saline implants. She came to The Cosmetic Surgery Clinic as she was unhappy with the sagging appearance of her breasts, asymmetry and capsular contracture causing painful aching (worse on her right side).
During consultation with her, she decided have her implants exchanged while going for a larger, fuller look.
She had breast implant revision surgery to correct the capsular contracture. In addition, since she wanted a larger size - her original implants were replaced with 415 gram and 385 gram silicone implants to compensate for the pre-operative asymmetry.
Plus, to help with the laxity and sagging appearance she also had a mastopexy (breast lift).
The result seen here almost 4 months after surgery demonstrates that the size and shape are much improved and the redness of her scarring will continue to fade over time. She is very pleased!
