Keep in mind that each patient is unique and your results may vary.
This healthy 46-year-old woman previously had breast augmentation surgery with another surgeon outside of Canada nearly a decade ago (approximately 340 gram textured implants). She came to The Cosmetic Surgery Clinic as she was having pain, capsular contractures, and was unhappy with the high positional appearance of her breasts that developed over time.
During consultation with her, she decided to have her implants removed and to have mastopexy surgery (breast lift) instead of adding implants back in by using her natural size and lifting the nipples to a more desirable position.
She had breast implant removal surgery with capsulectomy, and the mastopexy included fat grafting for added fullness by taking fat from her lateral abdomen, flanks and thighs with liposuction and transferring it to the areas needed.
The result seen here 8 months after surgery demonstrates that the shape is much improved with great fullness. The redness of her scarring will continue to fade over time. She is happy with her results and especially that the pain is gone!
