This healthy 52-year-old mother previously had breast augmentation surgery with another surgeon 25 years ago using saline implants. She came to The Cosmetic Surgery Clinic as she was unhappy with the sagging appearance of her breasts ("waterfall" deformity) and low positioning of her nipples.
During consultation with her, she decided have her implants exchanged plus a mastopexy (breast lift).
She had breast implant revision surgery to exchange her old saline implants with new silicone implants. Since she wanted a slightly smaller size, her original 310cc (335 gram) implants were replaced with 295 gram silicone implants.
Plus, to help with the sagging appearance and "waterfall" deformity she also had a mastopexy (breast lift).
She is very happy with her transformation! The results seen here 4 months after surgery demonstrate that the shape is greatly improved; the NAC (nipple areolar complex) is now placed on the most projecting part of the implant; and the "waterfall" deformity has been corrected. The redness of her scarring will continue to fade over time.
